KARHU POIKANA (A Bear as a Boy)

This story is based on a Karelian fairy tale and it is made for children but is suitable also for adults. It is performed by using puppets, and it contains a lot of fooling around and some unexpected tricks. A giant woman pulls all kinds of different characters from her pocket and a musician called Valle plays with his various instruments.

The story is about a prince who was turned into a bear by a spell, and a princess who is very loyal but who unfortunately canít keep her mouth shut. Everyone in the audience finds something familiar and something brand new from this wild adventure, where the witchesí noses get bigger and bigger.

The show can be performed almost anywhere, even outdoors.
